I loved this book!! Poor Sam our main character and private investigator. He definately got more than he was expecting from this case! I've never read anything in the magazine featuring him so he was a completely fresh character to me. I really liked him as he wanted to do his job well, do right by his client (which then turned to clients!) and, also wanted to be a great dad to his son Andy.
The storyline had me gripped from the off, finding Gabriella couldn't be too hard - could it? I loved how the mystery seemed to deepen and the client list seemed to grow. At times everything seemed like it was leading to dead ends, in some cases quite literally!
I loved how some characters were part of two completely different groups of people - all who were involved in it without knowing what some of the others were doing!! I loved how it all comes together in the end. Honestly this was a great read and I hope we get to hear more from Sam.
