Rescuing a victim of trafficking. On the run from a criminal millionaire. She was only supposed to be making sandwiches but now Tabby finds herself in a real life adventure, with only her mum, a disgraced policeman, a farting dog, and two homeless friends to help.
I loved this book! From the off Tabby had me laughing and as the book went on there was parts where I really was laughing out loud! Tabby was a great character, a bit clumsy and a bit dippy in places but she was really likeable and you just couldn't help but like her.
Her mum was a great character too, with a wide selection of hobbies and no adversity to danger! Some of her scenes were just too funny. Even towards the end when she wasn't at her finest she was still wanting to take part in what was going on!
I love that Tabby, despite thinking he may be a weird stalker / murderer takes Ben home to discuss his proposition and for a policeman he was definitely made out to be a bit of a wuss! The scenes with Babe however, did make me laugh as that is one thing that is guaranteed to make me gag!
Bear & Conor are just the cutest duo and despite the special brew actually turned out to be very handy at times! I wasn't convinced if Jack was a bad guy or a good guy, he was definitely very suave and who wouldn't have enjoyed 'dates' like that!
I loved the storyline and how it all come together, I couldn't stop reading as I needed to find out how it was going to end as there were more then a few moments where I was getting worried for some of our characters. I really liked the writing style and thought it just flowed brilliantly. You can grab a copy here #Aff (If you buy a copy through this link I get a teeny commission of the sale from Amazon)
