I loved this! It was so good to be back with Dee and the rest of the FitzMorris ladies. It was great to see that despite being on holiday having a relaxing break, Dee manages to come across a corpse and manage to be in the centre of it all. I just love her character, she makes me laugh out loud at times with the way she is and the things that she does, she is honestly just brilliant and a pure delight to read about.
In this book we did get to see more of Dee's daughter Zara, this was nice and it also showed us a little more of her in terms of her thoughts of Nicholas and how things may develop there. Despite not being away with her mum and gran I was glad that Amelia came over to assist Dee with the drama and we got to see more of her and Josh's relationship which is starting to blossom too.
I thought the storyline was very interesting and as with the last one, I had no idea who our killer was as there was multiple people that it could have been. It was really well written and the pages just kept turning as I was really engrossed in finding out who it was that was responsible. I loved the ending and there was a couple of unexpected twists there, that I never would have imagined in a million years!
I'm really looking forward to the next instalment and to work out who it is that we have 'met' at the end of this one! You can read my review of book one in the series; Corpse in the Chard here
