Just WOW!
I loved book 1 - Best Served Cold where we met Chad for the first time. And I always have that worry reading a second in a series - will it be as good??
Well let me tell you - this one was amazing also! It had me gripped from the off and just got better and better as it went along. I loved that we got to see how Chad was dealing with the aftermath from book 1. (Side note - you do not need to have read book 1 before reading this as the main points that you need to know are explained in this book, also credit to how this is done very succinctly and not drawn out! But I would recommend reading book 1 as it too is fabulous!)
The storyline kept me guessing as we went along, it honestly seemed an impossible case to solve. It was however, brilliantly written and I had no clue until it was revealed as to who our killer was. I found that the book gained momentum really quickly from the beginning and just powered its way all the way through. I literally couldn’t stop reading it and had it devoured in less than 24 hours.
I do hope that we get another book within this series as I feel that I am close to our main characters and there is still so much that we can hear from them. If you would like to grab a copy of the book then you can do so here #Aff
