I found that I was only a few pages in - and I NEEDED to know what the secret was!!! I loved reading about Nikki and seeing her transform the cottage that she has wanted to own for years. I also loved finding out about her 20 year old secret!
I loved the fact that the storyline was split into a now and then and every so often we would go back 20 years and find out a little bit more towards the secret and what had happened on that fateful night. In fact I think that was making me read the book quicker as I wanted to get to the next 'then' section so that I could find out more.
I thought that the now storyline was great too and whilst mostly focused on Nikki's new cottage we also had her new neighbour Adam's story as well as Nikki's mum, sister and niece's storylines too. I thought it was really well written and I loved how it all come together.
I do feel that I would like to hear more from the characters within The Secret Beach. You can grab a copy of the book here #Aff.
