I loved this book! Now I do need to start by confessing that this is actually the first book that I have read from this series (fully aware that this is book 4!) I will be going back and reading the others however as I absolutely loved it. As far as I know there’s not really anything major ‘missing’ from reading this before the others.

I really like our main characters - The Younglings, I like that they are all very different but collectively they are a force to be reckoned with! They seem a very tight group of friends and you can tell that they really care for each other.

I loved the storyline with this, it had one main ‘big one’ with other smaller ones woven in and it was brilliant. I really like the authors writing style and liked that some chapters were short snippets almost and others were longer juicer ones.

I’m actually a little bit sad that I have only just found this series and it’s the last book. Obviously, I have the previous ones to go back and read, and I think there is always hope that there could be another, maybe if enough readers cast a spell?
