I loved this book. It was great to be back with Sabre and I really do love the 'trio' of her, Bob and JP. I love how they work together, even though Sabre doesn't always listen to JP's warnings about not doing things!
I loved the storyline and from the very beginning I couldn't wait to see what exactly was happening, it had me hooked! I really felt for our main child characters in this book Cole and Bailey, two children from separate families in separate cases who were just having the most awful time.
I think what makes the books even better is that they really show how much Sabre cares about her clients. There was a particularly touching scene in this one which really highlighted this point but even without that it is clear to see in her actions.
This was really well written and I loved the pacing of it, I found that the nearer we were getting towards then end the quicker I was reading as I just loved how it all came together. There was some twists and surprises thrown into the mix which were just brilliant.
