A young mother is trapped with a killer thirty thousand feet up, in this gripping midair murder mystery by the author of Open Your Eyes.
On a plane to Barbados, nurse Melissa sits with her young son, Theo. On the same flight, up in first class, are a bride- and groom-to-be, heading for their tropical wedding destination, accompanied by family and friends.
When two members of the wedding party die in mysterious circumstances, it becomes clear that a killer is on board. Trapped in the cabin thousands of feet above the Atlantic, tensions mount as accusations fly—and when little Theo seems to vanish into thin air, this bizarre flight becomes even more turbulent . . .
Will Melissa be able to use her medical knowledge to find her son and bring a cold-blooded killer to justice before it’s too late?
I loved this book! I literally could not put it down. I have spent the whole afternoon / evening reading it!! The further into the flight we got the more the body count was rising but I was no closer to guessing who it was!!
I really liked our main character Melissa and felt really sorry for her, travelling with a toddler isn't easy and when people are rude it just makes me mad. I'm not going to lie - at the start I was seriously hoping that the rude woman from the airport was on the killers hitlist!! Melissa seemed to have had a tough time with her recent breakup and just needed to get away to relax with her friend. However, all was not as it seemed!
Our other main character was Aaron, he was travelling with his family and his fiancee and her family to get married, however he didn't want to marry her and was working out how to tell her this once they arrived in Barbados. He just needed to make it through the flight first!
I also felt for the cabin manager on the flight - it was most definitely a memorable flight for Charley - and not for the right reasons!! This was action packed and had twists and turns that I just wasn't expecting! It kept me guessing all the way up to the reveal and I loved the little twist we had at the end too! I really enjoyed the writing style and the fact that it was told from our 2 main characters points of view. It is the first book that I have read from Heather and it won't be the last as I loved it!
