I really enjoyed this cozy mystery! I liked our main character Harper from the offset. I felt for her as she had moved around so much she never felt that she had roots and then discovering that she may still not have roots is not what she was expecting! I think that she handled it really well though and just let her caring nature shine through.
I do just need to say that Luna was giving me absolute vibes from the start too! She was such a great character and made me chuckle a few times! I loved how everyone in town had something different about them and think that it is a great set up for further books to find out more about some of them.
I thought it was very clever having the mystery of the theft happening alongside the business propsal that was needed, and I also thought at times that it was a forgone conclusion. I was not expecting the twist we had towards the end however but I don't know why it surprised me in Havenwood!
