Frankie Whittle has it all: a career in the City, a gorgeous husband and a baby on the way. It's the perfect life, but it's built on sand.
In one terrifying night, everything she has worked so hard for unravels. She needs a fresh start.
When she discovers the very place she was born has been converted into a beautiful gated community, it feels like serendipity.
After all she's been through, has she found her dream home?
They say you should never go back, that the past is a foreign country, filled with devastating secrets.
How far will those around her go to keep their secrets safe?

Just - WOW! I absolutely LOVED this book, so much so that I just couldn't put it down. It had me absolutely gripped from the outset. You knew that something was going on but had no idea what and I don't think that I would have ever guessed either! Who could Frankie really trust?
I really liked our main character Frankie, and really felt for her - most of the time if I'm honest! She is a string and sassy character but also really vulnerable at times too, she has been really well written and I just wanted her to have a happy ending from the start. I really felt for her that her husband just did not seem to understand the trauma after the robbery at the flat, he was definitely too career focused and not focused enough on Frankie.
The storyline had me intrigued, then gripped and then just mind blown! I found that the more I read the more I had to read as I couldn't believe what I was reading - what I had initially thought that might be going on at Pavillion Gardens was wayyyy off the mark and I honesty was not expecting what I read! It was brilliantly put together and I loved the pacing of it.
